Towards a FANCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA

Given the fact that there is a new push to create a revised and updated FANCYCLOPEDIA it might be said that there is an imperative to ensure that the fandom of the British Isles is appropriately covered. And in depth and detail too.
Here are some lists - simple lists, names, fanzine titles, conventions etc - that may remind, inspire, and encourage us all to participate.

 It does occur to me, of course, that there are two ways of approaching this. On the one hand information can be incorporated into the third edition of FANCYCLOPEDIA - see link above - or, using the same wiki-like software, a completely UK-oriented Fancyclopedia Britanica can be created. Comments and suggestions please !
