This section is Kettering2 - these photos are identified on the back as being taken at the 2nd CYTRICON, 1956. But it should be noted that for some of them that date has been overwritten across an inscription of '1st Cytricon 1955'.

Please note - the identification is in Brian Burgess' characteristic hand, so E&OE!

If anyone can make positive IDs on any of these email them to me at k57@gostak.demon.co.uk

We have some suggestions - which will be appended to the photos using these colour recognitions - JIM LINWOOD, BILL BURNS, DAVE WOOD

KETTERING1

All unknown - the bearded fellow is NOT Bert Campbell!

Sandersod seated centre, Dave Newman with beard (?)

KETTERING10

All unknown, but could the character in the light jacket be Byron T Jeeves?

KETTERING15.jpg

KETTERING2.jpg

KETTERING15

All unknown in this worrying double exposure, but could the person with guitar be the fabulous Lawrence Sandfield?

the double-exposed chap with guitar could be John Brunner.

KETTERING25

These people are having too much fun, and it is a good thing we don't know any of them...

Roles & Shorrock centre

chap with cloak & chain is Norman Shorrock. Man with 'Mercury' hat likely to be Archie Mercer, I think

KETTERING27

I'm pretty sure that is Ethel Lindsay on the left, otherwise no idea!

Ina far left (?)

Ina Shorrock in hazy background, left.

KETTERING6.jpg

KETTERING5

All unknown, but the far right is I believe Bert Campbell, and that could be Ted Carnell to the left of him. Otherwise your guess as good as mine, if not better.

Tubb centre, Carnell 2nd from right.

KETTERING6

No idea who any of these people are!

KETTERING7.jpg

KETTERING8.jpg

KETTERING7

All unknown, but then they all look the same after a while!

KETTERING8

All unknown, but I have the nagging suspicion that the recurring blonde in the flowered dress may have been the model for Sandra Laurence!
