This is a basic guide to composite helmets - ballistic plastic, Kevlar, Aramid, Spectra, etc - used around the world. The idea is to build up a collection of images and information from contributions by collectors. There are other excellent websites that include information on composite helmets, and eventually they will be systematically cross-referenced here. References to manufacturers' webpages will also be included. All knowledge is good. Contributions of images and text are welcome; please ensure
that your
pictures are properly representative of the real object, and that
you definately know what it really is; not always so certain as
one might imagine. Please note - this is a Work in Progress
- we need INFORMATION -
if you can add detail to these pages please make
contact with Greg Pickersgill. Project begun 16th October 2010 |
