"This would appear to be a UN marked Austrian Ulbricht's Wwe, Schwanenstadt, a Schuberth variant.
The first composite helmet issued to Austrian Rural Police in limited numbers. Probably some supplied to Slovakia.

"No marking of any kind in the helmet, however there is some residual blue paint which may indicate it had been used on a UN mission and then returned to normal daily use."

"Liner is very similar to that used on this Austrian-made helmet trialled by the Netherlands."

VePlas helmet - known in Slovak service as ASR 97
May also be known as PASR 3

A cloth cover appears to have been fixed on using the liner bolts  - the same characteristic appears on the other example shown below. The covers seem to have been torn off rather than carefully removed.

This does not appear to be a well-made product - the ribber rims of the shells are not completely secure as is obvious with this one.

Note the Slovak cross of Lorraine on this example.

DSCN2864.JPG

The model number 'PASR 3' appears to be written on with ball-pen rather than printed.
A similar label with the same annotation appears in the other example shown below.

Another example, in rather better condition.
The two helmets are essentially the same, but the colour and texture of some elements of the chinstrap rig and liner cradle are different in each. In-service replacement?
